FAREWELL EVERYBODY

HELLO EVERYONE! Welcome to my farewell post !  We have reached the end of my blogging journey. I created this blog to be a page where I can share my thoughts and task products on language education in the 21st century.  Technology is at the center of the 21st century. Before I took this course, I considered technology integration as an option and limited if we consider today's education view in Turkey.   But through this course, I learned there is a need for technology in every school, and this need will increase even more when we, pre-service teachers, become in-service teachers. Technology should be used for the sake of education for digital natives. We can reshape our opportunities by using our creativity even in the worst conditions! That is why it is important to be a teacher who read a lot, research a lot, and reflect a lot to be a compatible teacher! DIGITAL STORYTELLING!

HELLO EVERYONE! My post is about digital storytelling , the process, and its use in language classes. What Is Digital Storytelling? Digital storytelling is a short form of digital media production that allows everyday people to share aspects of their stories (Wikipedia, 2020). The Task For our assignment, we were asked to create a digital story in pairs. My friend Betül and I chose "How to project" After brainstorming, we decided on the Konmari method!  We drafted our script and  created a storyboard with visuals  Here is an example! To get the perfect result, I recorded my narration several times using my phone's voice recorder.  Afterward, we used Canva to design our video. Canva is a convenient tool because,  If you struggle to design, you can use various templates to inspire!  It has free visuals and soundtracks.  But The free videos are limited so finding a perfect match for narration can be hard. HELLO EVERYONE! Today my post is about infographics , the design process, and their use in language classes. What Is an Infographic? An infographic is a  picture  or  diagram or  a  group  of  pictures  or  diagrams   showing  or  explaining   information  (Cambridge Dictionary, 2020). The Task Our assignment was to create an infographic about online higher education in turkey during the pandemic. As we are now isolated in our homes this is a current concern for learners.
